Hi, me and my fiancee are Sept filer. I resceived an sms from USCIS on Oct 1 that they are mailing an I-797C notice to my house (but until now I still haven't received it in hand).
I was concerned about my fiancee's last name since when our application got rejected for an incorrect fee.
On the rejection notice paper they got her last name wrong.
Since then we have been concerning about her last name may not have been fixed.
So yesterday I contacted live agent on Emma and told her about my concern for my fiancee's last name in there system for our NOA1 which we haven't got the hardcopy one on it.
The agent said "At this time the case is processing and moving forward as it should. Nothing is needed or outstanding from you at this time. The case is going through neccessary processing check that must be complete before a decision. Her name is:....."
This time they got her name right in their system, so I am not concern about the name part anymore.
But what I am really curios is the agent telling me that our case is in processing now, moving forward, and going through neccessary processing check. Does this mean they are working on our case now and we may hear something back from them sooner than we expect? Could my case be one of the Sept that is in Process status on this website?
How do I know that they are actually working on my case now?
Thank you for your answer in advance!
