Emergency Travel Document #I-131

I applied for expedited for RTD, and got a call from the tier two office, but I never got an email to submit my evidence. So, I am thinking of emergency Travel Doc.
My question is:

USCIS provides advance parole, on an emergency basis, not Aslyum Travel Doc, right?
How long will be the validity? Depending on my situation? Can I ask for 6 months just in case they give for a short time?
Should pay a fee before an interview or after?

I would appreciate any experience and info you can share.

SumitDagi Hi! You can request an appointment through http://my.uscis.gov/appointment , you can personally talk to an agent, explain your urgency and hopefully, they'll approve your request that same day

Hi, I also applied for Expdited AP request, and I got approval in Paper form mentioning that it’s been granted on humanitarian basis. I put evidence of my mother health documents form back home, such as medical reports and doctor notes etc. And it’s valid for 5 years. As far as I remeber there is no fee or anything.

blldd Have you ever traveled outside the US while waiting for a green card without a visa in your passport with a combo card or a travel document? Because I have a combo card and I want to visit my family, but I am receiving comments about the possibility of not being allowed in when I return, but my father's health condition is not good. I am not sure what to do.
